Lindsay Coffey brings nearly two decades of experience helping business owners transform their financial operations into a genuine competitive advantage. Her work is rooted in a simple but powerful belief: that when business owners truly understand their financials, they make better decisions, build stronger companies, and achieve goals they once thought out of reach.
Lindsay began her career as an external auditor, where she quickly noticed a pattern that would shape the rest of her career. Time and again, she encountered talented entrepreneurs whose businesses were growing — but who lacked the financial literacy to fully interpret their own financial statements or use them to drive meaningful decisions. She saw owners making critical choices about hiring, investment, and expansion without the clarity their numbers could have provided. That observation led her to make an intentional move into outsourced accounting and advisory — to be the person who not only produces accurate financials, but makes them legible and actionable for the business owners who depend on them.
Over her career, Lindsay has advised hundreds of clients across industries including technology, hospitality, retail, professional services, real estate, manufacturing and family offices. Her client deliverables go well beyond month-end closes and reconciliations. She focuses on building the financial infrastructure — reporting frameworks, processes and technology integrations — that gives business owners real visibility into their performance and the confidence to act on what they see.
Lindsay is a natural collaborator and builder — of teams, of processes, and of client relationships. Prior to joining LJB, she spent 16 years at Baker Tilly, where she led the new client onboarding and transitions team within CAS, advising on financial operations, system optimization and reporting modernization.
Lindsay holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of North Texas and is a licensed CPA in Texas.
